LOCATION: Alloy Die Casting Company, Buena Park California MACHINE SET-UP PERSON Set-up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes to ensure customer specifications are achieved. Inspect parts, prior to formal First Article, to ensure machines and operators are producing parts that meet customer specifications. ·Must be able to read blueprints and possess the skill necessary to perform close tolerance work. ·Monitor the actual production of the parts on a daily basis to ensure quality standards are met. Make adjustments when necessary. ·Must be familiar with various tools, such as: Flexarm, drill/tapping machines, etc., to improve production. ·Must be willing to operate machines during peak periods and as required by schedule. ·EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · High School Graduate preferred. · Has minimum 5years experience machining castings and performing set ups ·Experience with Fanuc controls. NC Mill, NC Lathes and programming experience · Knowledge of machine shop measuring instruments. · Knowledge on programming lathes and mills using mastercam _______________________________________________________________________________________ CNC MACHINE OPERATORS Must be able to operate NC Mills and NC Lathes, drill/tap machines as instructed. Must be able to utilize various tools, such as : Calipers, depth micrometers, height gages Utilize in process sheet to record and monitor close tolerance dimensions.
